KEEP IT ON THE CARPET

KITC was an exhibition I put together for the international football culture festival, PITCH FEST. It consisted of three projects that were inspired by the trials and tribulations of the everyday football fanatic.

Delusions of Grandeur.

We put ourselves in imaginary world when we play football. 

Whether consciously or sub-consciously, emanating our heroes heightens our enjoyment of the game. And for better or worse, our imagination stirs emotion sometimes not quite befitting a Sunday kick about.

Souvenir.

Football collections allow people to relive, to connect with a tournament, a game, with a player and with their memories. We create an emotional bond to an object, because of our emotional bond with the story.

Football fandom inspires this curation of your own personal museum of historical artifacts, because sometimes, collecting these things is pretty much your only option.
